University of Providence (a four year, liberal arts, Catholic university) was approved to launch a pre-licensure BSN program (both traditional, post-high school and second baccalaureate accelerated options), to begin in January 2019. In addition to the RN-BSN completion program, UP is launching two graduate programs: a Master’s of Science in Nursing with an education focus (January 2019), and a primary care nurse practitioner program (2020). All courses are taught by subject matter experts in their respective disciplines.
